You can ask a lot of questions qhen talking about food. At Biology you have looked at the nutrients and how to digest them and their functions. During Science we will take a look at whether food is healthy and why.

Unfortunately we are not told most of the time which products are healthy. Our society is mostly based on money and making money. That's why you have to take into account that
  • not the most healthy products are advertised, but the ones that will generate profit
  • food contains additives to make it more appealing and tastefull and to prolong the time before it reaches the expiration date
  • people are not always payed well for their products, escpecially in foreign countries. Sometimes you should find out a bit more about certain brands before buying them.

It's important to learn more about food, because you need it every day!
